If your gimmick is entirely optional, and you can "skip it and not miss a beat", why waste the time and resources on it at all?

im about 4 hours in and im 40% done so i'd assume about 10 hours total including the show and maybe another couple hours to go back through and get all the collectables and maybe another couple to replay the sections where you choose a fate to choose them the other way.
the game is really awesome and the story is great. the time powers are smooth as fuck an integrate into the gunplay well. i'm a big remedy fan and they didnt disappoint.
if you literally only care about number of hours a game has and quantity = quality to you then you'll probably have more fun playing the new COD or whatever hot new MMO.
