Reviewers on major publications don't review games on how good they are but how good they think the general public think the games are. Demon's Souls got the lowest score because nobody knew about the series back then, and Dark Souls 2 got tied with the highest because that was when the franchise peaked in popularity because of the PC port of DS1, streamers and faggots clamoring on about how it's the "hardest game that will drive you insane because you'll die a billion times!".

Well demons souls is easily the worst game in the series so that score is accurate. Bloodborne lower than the other two is ridiculous though. Haven't played ds3 yet.
