Opinions about battlefeet gothic armada? Best faction? Why are most of the chaos favours so useless on his kit?

The Chaos favors seem decent enough to me. Especially Nurgle for making enemy boarding actions a lot less painful.

Much better than I had anticipated. Instead of a shitty RTS, it actually pulled the TT off pretty well.

No. It doesn't improve your boarding, it's your resistance to boarding that benefits.
It means its far less likely you'll lose your engines or generators to a lucky boarding action early one and can proceed to spend the match kiting.
I actually really want this game. But I'm not interested in multiplayer in RTS(Too overwhelming for me) and with the campaing not fully available, I'm mostly waiting
I wish they would release the eldar soon, the only reason i am not playing the game is because they aren't in it yet.
Question: Is the campaign mode just a story playthrough of a number of missions?
Is there any management inbetween skirmishes in this game?(Like DoW or Vermintide)

It's there tickle any cheeky escorts that get too close or just to aid in chasing down dying ships.
In my opinion Nurgle's pestilence isn't going to help a chaos ship not get shredded at close range by any proper ork or imperial ships of the line.

Proper release is 22 April. At the moment purchasing it gets you mp, single player skirmish and I think the first three missions of the campaign with the first being a tutorial.
It's quite buggy and unoptimised but I'm having quite a lot of fun with it regardless.
