The voice casting is spot on EXCEPT for Phoenix, which really annoyed me. Larry and Mia were exactly as expected, Judge was fine and Payne and Sahwit were great. But they cast some generic protagonist voice for Phoenix, which is annoying.
it has no direction, feels like it's just trying to be an exact interpretation of the video game done in anime cutscenes. I hope they try to focus on the advantages of their own medium instead of just a 1:1 conversion of the game, because there's not a lot of adrenaline or tension in it right now even with the soundtrack
