You don't need to appease everyone to get an S+ you just have to max out the girl you're playing.
But yeah, it's not really efficient to try and gift everyone in a single run. Better to focus on you and your partner (doing missions whenever you can in between is good, because that's the only way to level the owner)

I haven't needed to grind and I've been doing missions. The lewder swimsuits get expensive and girls are likely to dislike them so that can cost you a lot in long run if you're constantly rewrapping. You either do the save exploit or get lucky in the casino for quick money but I'd suggest to just enjoy the game until you get stuck.

Yeah, you take a closeness hit when you separate.
If you're trying to spam swimsuits, butt battle is the way to go.
Butt Battle increases closeness the quickest, and then Volleyball increases Satisfaction the quickest.
I'm sure you already know, but closeness in noted by the musical notes over their icon, and satisfaction is the pink ring around their picture. (or blue ring, if they're thoroughly dissatisfied)

Also, what I mean by musical notes is the ones that float over their profile when they are taking. The ones at the bottom of the screen when gifting don't show when it's max'd. Purple floating notes mean you are close enough, but red floating notes means max closeness/more likely to accept swimsuits

I'm probably not doing enough minigames then compared to volleyball. If closeness doesn't improve with the team you're up against then that would explain why I'm not having a lot of luck.
I only ever gift directly when a mission tells me to or I have a gap so I don't get to see the notes often. Next time I'll try be a bit one on one more.

Yeah, volleyball doesn't really affect closeness for the opposing team, just you and your partner.
And don't confuse closeness with satisfaction. The 1/2/3 hearts you see after a game/gift isn't closeness. That's satisfaction that's increasing. Closeness is an invisible stat, save for the musical notes in the menu/over their profile.

I get all that I just assumed closeness would go up at a certain degree for volleyball but it does make sense for it to be better for more intimate activities. Only playthough that I haven't S+ ranked was my first so that's all fine. Gift giving is just a bit more complicated than the first game.

To get S+ you have to max the satisfaction of the girl you are playing.
Rock climbing doesn't increase Satisfaction as quick as Volleyball (2 hearts instead of 3), but it does give you consistent gains since you can't lose when climbing. Also, give the girl some gifts at night to boost her satisfaction. The pink ring around her icon gives you an idea of her satisfaction. When it's fully pink, you are close to max (the only way to see if you are max'd is to highlight the gifting option in Owner Mode. Four hearts means max satisfaction)
