Halo is such a basic yet effective formula:
1. Sci-fi FPS
2. Laser/Plasma Futuristic Weapons
3. Tons of Vehicles
4. Team oriented gameplay
Halo 3 was by far the greatest party FPS on the 360, and arguably that whole generation of console FPS.
Why has no company attempted or succeed in making an effective halo clone?

Base Halo Online was just matchmaking, no forge, no custom games, tons of weapons and maps removed, and F2P bullshit features.
This is completely unlocked, they found the dormant Halo 3 code. Not all the maps have been enabled yet due to some script bugs, but it's all being worked on. Dual wielding next patch too.
