Anyway I'd say that, as a whole, FFI-VII are better than DQI-VI, but since then FF has ranged from mediocre to outright shit while DQ has been nothing but gold since VII and getting better and better.

I like Dragon Quest more, but I was really hoping XV would be good but the Platinum Demo was boring as fuck. I could forgive sub-par graphics, but the gameplay just wasn't that good. That being said FF still gets some decent spin-offs and side games.
