It's rare when this happens, but I love it so much. It's great when you can tune the audio perfectly to how you like. Can't remember which game did it, but the sound options included everything from footstep echoes to engine sounds to turbo whines.

If that's the case I'd just play in Japanese, there's no reason whatsoever to pick English unless for some reason they decided to hire top notch voice actors and the dub is actually comparable to the source material.

You always play the game in the language that fits the setting the game is based on and subtitles in english or whatever language you understand. IE, max payne 1 in english, Stalker / metro in russian, persona in japanese, and so on.

Ironically, rockstar understands why language according to the setting it's important, and that's why the brs in MP3 don't speak english and the subtitles are also in br, because otherwise the feeling of being stranded in an unknown shithole is lost.
