I'm pretty sure Lee and Miguel are getting in and Ganryu is out. No one really cares about the sumo guy and if we wanted a fat guy then there is always Bob.

What are you even talking about? Costumes? I don't play Tekken for dressing up. Also Tag Teams meant customization of your own team and gameplay.
Everything has been made "easier" for beginners, and they just try to appeal to an audience that doesn't care. We don't need people who dislike the basic gameplay of Tekken being drawn in with SF mechanics.

I'm talking about the pace of a match, you spend more time fighting in stead of being in the air or comboing someone else.

Bound is replaced by tailspin so nothing is lost except now you need better execution. It slowed things down because the combos lasted too long especially with two characters. Walls are still dangerous but now they can't be abused.
The costomization is a minor thing but the main complain about having a roster than size is it makes it hard to get into the game. This could a plus for since i like Tekken but a negative for most since learning that much is too much. A lot of those characters were clones or joke characters too so we're not losing as much as you think.

You seem to be new to Tekken. Just because you dislike being combo'd doesn't mean it is a bad mechanic.
"Abusing" walls is exactly the kind of thing that made Tekken great. Positioning yourself for a wall carry, or locking down your opponent is really fun, and landing a sick death combo with 130+ dmg is awesome.
If you are not able to do said things you might think it is just "OP" or annoying, but in reality it just means that a match between two players of the same level isn't "over" as soon as someone gets a clear life lead and turtles: The beauty of Tekken Tag 2 are the combacks made possible by bound moves and wall combos.

Ive been playing since Tag 1 and have played every game since. I thought doing juggles was hot shit when i was young but it gets so easy and repetitive that i enjoyed going back and forth between my opponent a lot more. If i wanted more combos i would play an anime fighter or Marvel.
And i know a goal in Tekken is to have your opponent against the wall, but there is having the advantage and then there is just abusing crap. Keep in mind that some characters are far far better than others when there is a wall involved so now they are OP just because of stage design. Bound made that worse and tailspin keeps things the same without making it worse.

We can argue for hours because in the end it is just a matter of preference but you do make a lot of points that are just plain wrong:
There aren't "OP" wall characters (Not counting Tekken 5 Bryan of course). Of course some have exceptional wall game, but therefore they are lacking in some other areas. So no, stage selections doesn't make them OP it means you have to adapt to them when you play and abuse their weakness.
The match doesn't get faster if the juggles are shorter. Of course the time you spend in the air is reduced, but the neutral game is still the same, you still don't want to get juggled so you can't just throw out moves like a mad man, as in any otehr Tekken.
All in all the bound just meant more varied combo options and of course more damaging combos. Wether or not that's your thing is up to you, but it is not objectively worse. Just when it comes to attracting new players, because who likes to die in 2 juggles, right.
My main concern is the small roster. It is just sad to see certain characters go, and to me a bigger roster is far more important than easier and less "risky" gameplay.

I play Miguel quite a bit and they are nothing alike. I mean Katarina mostly uses her legs while Miguel is a straight up brawler.

Dunno about Ganryu, but Wang and Baek aren't likely to return. Some of their moves (like Wang's d+3, 4 and Baek's df+3, 4) have been inherited by Xiaoyu and Hwoarang in 7. Ganryu doesn't have a young and fit successor or clone, so he still has a chance to return.
