Sonic alzheimer's
Sonic has lived past his golden days and also cannot go fast anymore. Due to his alzheimer's he just forgets it and tries to go fast anyway, but with terrible results. This slowly turns Sonic even more into an empty husk of his former self. Then he dies but gets revived by SEGA so he can just try one last time to be fast, but he will never be fast again.
Shadow the Hedgehog meets Jet Set Radio with a environment the size of los santos from GTA V, but have it populated with animals like in the SATam show or the comics. Faction missions like Mercenaries, gunplay and driving feels like Saints Row 2.
The factions would be
