Steam controller's build quality is damn near trash, it's capabilities are nice for a very specific audience, but even then using it on certain games was troublesome, or it just didn't work.
Would personally put it in the low tier.
As for the current list, you should probably switch the xbone pad with the 360, outside of that the list seems fine.

Why does everyone rate the Dualshock 4 so highly, out of interest? In most of these lists I see it in high or god tier when, at least to me and my friends, it's pretty meh. Definitely the worst out of the 3 this generation produced (obviously referring to the Wii U pro, not the gamepad lol).

I've had my DS4 and play my PS4 daily for long periods of time, they do not disintegrate

Like that is really fucking bad dude. That alone kills any benefits the thing might have. That means you have to recharge the thing every 2 or maybe 3 times you play. Nothing worse than sitting down with your friends to play some (does the PS4 have good couch multiplayer games yet, I'm not sure) and you find out one of the controllers starts dying 20 minutes in. Considering where technology is at right now, your controller should be able to muster more than 8 fucking hours AT BEST

Theres bound to be a knockoff controller for playstation systems that has the shape of the 360 controller, the PS4 controller feels like it would snap explosively if you put a bit of effort into twisting it, it creaks and moans just by squeezing it which is cheap as fuck. Xbox controllers were always solid enough you could bounce them off the walls and theyd still work. Id love a modern use dreamcast controller they were always my favourite for how big they were whilest remaining comfortable.

Nah mate,it was good. It wasn't GREAT, bit it was good. The "clacky" shoulder buttons had pressure sensitivity, and the click clearly indicated the divide between a full press and a partial press. This went woefuly underutilized, but it always worked great when it was.

This is just plain wrong anon. While uniform buttons are just fine and dandy, the GC's non-uniform buttons were for allowing one's thumb to gravitate toward a primary button which had one of the game's most essential actions bound to it while easily being able to press one of the orbiting buttons at the same time. I found it very useful in games with non-retarded button mapping.
The C-stick was perfectly serviceable, but rarely used anyway. The d-pad was pretty shit though, I'll give you that.

But what I always will stand by is that the analogue stick of the GC is pretty much the best of all the modern designs. It has an 8 way gate, which is just nice and isn't as weak as many modern sticks, meaning you have to apply a little force to move it.
