How would a classic Fallout game in an X-Com art style do these days?
The gameplay is fun and the exploration is nice but god fucking damn the writing and the story is just so fucking bad. It's so bad it literally bothers me whenever I play the game. The dialogue doesn't help either. Fallout went from an RPG to a glorified sandbox shooter. Can't wait for the overhauls to roll out once the GECK comes out.

Not OP but it aint my first fallout, im a hardcore diehard fallout. But after so many letdowns ive dealt with the heresy beth done to fallout, not to mention how interplay fucked the whole van burrito case where we won't even see a demo of F3VB.
I've done crying about it, now i try to enjoy what is left an empty husk of a thing i used to love. So far, 4 is pretty good.

Healing isn't instant in normal play anyway. You have to wait for your health to fill back up when you eat or use stimpacks, not to mention the stimpack animation.

my autism is boundless. all the objects are clutter objects that's actually in game but made available to build mode via mods. all the objects are placed by hand but in game they are treated as static objects so there's no risk of bumping into a table and losing all the placements to the wacky toddphysics(tm) like we're all used to in oblivion.
