How many Steam friends do you have?
How many of them actually matter to you?
About 20 IRL friends and maybe about a dozen or so more people who I've met playing stuff and actually keep in touch with.

None because I actually play games, I don't use Steam as a social network.
none because i quit playing online grindy games about 3 years ago.

It's literally impossible to maintain good friendships with more than 4 people, at least anything close to meaningful.
I deleted most of mine so I only 8 that I know irl. I care about 3-4 of them honestly.

I have about 30 steam friends. About 5 of them are family members, 5 of them are IRL friends, and the other 20 are members of the private vanilla TF2 server I frequent.
And I'm closer with my server group than I am with my family members.
