Basically, there's a glitch in the game that requires two people to duplicate items. It's pretty easy to do once you get the timing down. People would duplicate Royal Crowns and sell them because it was a shit load faster than playing the Stalk Market.
There were a couple of butthurt moralfags against it when I lurked the AC /vg/ threads. I'm sure more than half of them would beg for free shit though in the giveaways, lel

The point is that it's emulation, not an actual Nintendo release. You can technically play the N64 and GC versions as well as CF on Android too, provided you have a powerful enough phone.
If Nintendo officially moved one of their actual franchises from their handheld line to mobile, that would be retarded.
