>want to try factorio
>no gog torrent
Why must I suffer so!!??
Don't tell anyone else here that I told you this but you could justbuy it.
>>333216984
there won't be a gog torrent since it uses a built in drm for updates
>>333217205
back to r.eddit with you
Theres a demo. Also just buy it it's good and not an early-access shitbox like everything else
so what is GOG exactly
>want to try factorio
There's a demo, you know.
>>333216984
buy the game
>>333217430
Sorry, what I meant was "I wan't the game for free".
>>333217415
Good Old Games. Go to the website. It has a collection of some good old(and new) games there - if you know what I mean.
>>333217543
Then torrent the highest version you can?

>telling people to pirate good games
End thyself. Factorio deserves every cent.
Just download the demo.
If you like it, buy it, if you don't like it, you haven't lost anything.
This isn't rocket science.
>>333217961
Fuck you nigga, Factorio happens to be decent and I bought it, but he has the right to pirate any game he fucking wants
>>333218360
>has the right
Pfthahah. No.
>>333218360
He does have that right, but exercising that right has consequences. Not for him, but for the devs.
>>333218470
Oh no, the devs lose 20 "potential" dollars! What a tragedy!
>start playing factorio
>eventually get several coal mines going
>now have 15 long-ass belts all clogged up with coal from both sides
WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO WITH ALL THIS COAL
>>333218641
You're an idiot
>>333218759
Leave it backed up. Doesnt harm you left like that
>>333218980
>Leave it backed up
I don't have enough storage and all the chests in this game are tiny as fuck
Like I presume I've got a potential 1.5M coal resources from all these drills I got running
>>333216984
it's not on GOG afaik, and the version from their site has no DRM at all anyway
>>333219112
no you idiot, leave it backed up on the belts.
>>333219389
It bothers me
I can't have anything clogged up
>>333219112
You can leave things backed up on your belts. It actually makes it more efficient when you are using materials in producing goods to have those materials back up so your system can release more resources to other belts
>>333219587
Its the the more efficient way to play
>>333218759
Chests aren't that tiny, just use inserter's to make a chain of chests if need be
>>333218759
Make a field of thousands of burner inserters that just pass coal back and forth among themselves. Cloud the sky with your pollution of progress. You are the eco-terrorist here to choke the natives.
>>333216984
>Game is drm free, you just can't update it without an account. Just download the latest version
Is there still no way to see what your maximum power output is?
Really annoying since end game relies on having enough power for all those laser turrets
>>333220648
You can click on an power line and see your electricity usage. Multiply the number of steam engines by their max output of 510kW for max potential power. Same with solar panels by 80kW for full daylight. If you're referring to the needed number of accumulators to sustain your factory overnight at full capacity, I have no idea. Especially with variable power usage of roboports and laser turrets based on if you're attacked and whatnot.
>>333220648
Unfortunately not, shouldn't be hard to calculate though
>>333221056
Also fully upgraded turrets with AP ammo do 2.5x the damage of the laser turrets, if you'd prefer a less power-intensive system that required resupplying them with ammo.
The megabase I'm slowly building is using AP ammo turrets all around the main base, with laser turrets only at my railway mine outposts so I don't have to ship them ammo in trains.
>>333217572
For the longest time I thought it was Games Of Gold. Was shocked to find out the real name.

Thanks for buying games so I can pirate them for free, morons.
literally minecraft tier shit crafting with over complicated design
you want management with some graphix and actually enjoyable development ?
get anno 1404 or 2070
factorio is turbo autism : the game
>>333221981
This. I thought I would be into it but I can't stand minecraft-like crafting games and in the end this is a glorified version of that.
>>333218360
Do people even realize what "has the right" mean? He is in no way entitled nor can be defended for taking product that has a price tag on it.
I download games all the time, but there's no defense for it besides me wanting to do it.
trade empires is similar, but is free. google it and download.
WHERE IS THE TORRENT?
>>333220648
You dont power laser turrets with steam engines or solar panels, you use accumulators for that.
>>333219587
Factorio isn't for you then
>>333216984
DO NOT FUCKING GET THIS GAME
IT WILL BE THE END OF YOU
But seriously, this game is like fucking heroin to me.
>>333221981
>minecraft tier shit crafting
wrong
>factorio is turbo autism : the game
correct
>>333224178
quick anon, better set up a production line for those anti-heroin pellets
>>333218759
Let it sit there. That's exactly what belts are for, when they're backed up you know your production exceeds your use and you're in the green. Something being backed up also prevents stuff behind it from wastefully operating, so everything is only using exactly what it needs to.
>>333219913
>inserter's
>>333220330
I've done that!
It was the most pointless, useless thing. But hey, I spelled out a few letters and it was gloriously inefficient.
