Asura's Wrath isn't up its own ass. It never claims to be a cinematic masterpiece that's bringing "progress" to the medium. It's not made by Hollywood rejects with their failed scripts trying to impress people with their direction in hopes of gaining entry into the movie making industry. It's a fun spectacle, and it doesn't claim to be anything else.
