I don't see what the problem is. I mean, the only options are "whine like a little bitch until Capcom makes another Megaman game" and "just fucking make your own Megaman game".
Shit's gonna be stuck on limbo for all eternity until they go "WHOOPS GAME WAS CANCELLED BECAUSE WE COULDN'T AFFORD IT" when in fact they could afford for all the TV adaptations, merch and whatever more they came up with in order to promote the crap out of it.
