What are the chances of them including a Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo with Final Fantasy XV? There's a precedence with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD here so it's possible.
On one hand it would provide Final Fantasy XV with a much needed boost in sales. However I personally want XV to become its own entity on par with VII. Without having to stand on the classic's toes.
Final Fantasy XV might actually surpass VII.

Unlikely. Squeenix tends to throw in demos for super-hyped games in with games they're not sure will sell well enough on their own (Brave Fencer Musashi, FF Type-0, etc.) rather than games that are already guaranteed to sell millions. Much more likely to see a demo packaged with Nier or some other B-list game that hasn't even been announced yet than with XV.

Her captivity is because she's a very powerful political figure who comes from a subjugated province. Makes the whole situation delicate for the Niflheim leadership. She also isn't a summoner per se (that's Noctis); she's the pope of sorts. Summons are connected to the gods, so talking to them is her job too.
