Are they complex games like this one?
I need you hlep /v/
Recently there has been an image called "comfy games for autists" floating around /v/. Maybe if you bumb this thread enough, somebody will post it.
does "magic duels" on pc count as complex games? it's not true mtg experience, but pretty close, good if you don't have friends
>>333106606
yeah man its exactly the image i want
How do you get gud at dominions? Like, I'm okay, but I've barely scratched the surface
>>333107124

>>333106000
>hlep
Are you ready for a complex game?
>>333107921
yeah bru i was only a little drunk you know
>>333107784
Dwarf Fortress is the go to game for general autism.
Alternatively, Aurora 4x is your "how are you even a functioning member of society" type of autism game.
I've played Dwarf fortress for years but I quickly gave up on aurora after I tried it, the UI is pretty much just a spreadsheet
>>333108591
I already tried Dwarf fortress but the interface so incomprehensible...
thx for Aurora 4x, I'll certainly like it since i liked play with spreadsheet in eve lel
>>333108754
you get used to the interface fairly quickly. personally I couldn't imagine the interface any other way now that I've gotten used to it
Is this good enough OP? Look up "Stars!" on Abandonia.
Football Manager
>>333109112

>>333109089

>>333109112

Here ya go, OP
>>333110175
oh woaw... :O version 1.1
we absolutly need an 1.2
a big thx my friend
>>333109504
its just a little memorization of shortcuts, if you take the time to follow a guide youll see and get a little more familiar
>>333109504
I originally learned how to play the game with this
http://afteractionreporter.com/2009/02/09/the-complete-and-utter-newby-tutorial-for-dwarf-fortress-part-1-wtf/
it's for an older version of DF but once you've finished this tutorial you should be able to pretty confidently play the current version of the game. the only thing mentioned in this tutorial that has significantly chanced is the military system.in which you can get the basics here http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2014:Military_quickstart
generally I thing the best way to learn how to play the game is to just start playing, reading the wiki as you go along and play until you lose. then you try to understand why you lost, read the wiki some more, learn how to prevent it and start a new game. then just repeat this to eternity. just don't forget the motto of the game: "losing is fun"
>>333109504
A guide on the wiki helps you play the game step by step. It can be helpful to learn the controls. DF is pretty basic at its core. It's like playing simcity or something but with just keyboard controls. Takes some getting used to to learn the keybinds.
>>333110175
well I really enjoy half the games on this list so I know what I'm playing next
>>333110621
oh, and forgot to mention, I didn't know about this guide when I started playing which seems to be fairly detailed and cohesive.
http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2014:Quickstart_guide
you could want to look into this, even though the first one I posted is more detailed and idiot friendly
>>333110175
>mfw all my favorite games are here
I guess autism isn't that bad.
Unreal World (Free on its website - Paying on Steam)
I have it on my wish-list

so much new games to try
>>333110621
thx my friend! it give me hope! :D
>>333111370
i like the graphism... need to try! :)
>>333111370
Honestly I played it and as far as 'difficulty curve' goes it's not that complex.
There's a lot to do but once you get the hang of the UI navigation, it's really really easy and there isn't much to do besides wander around killing Njerpez and drying/smoking food.
Sub Commander
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=202304
basically a WWII nuclear submarine simulator
>>333112285
Mm, those are sad news. I expected more from a game from 1992
>>333110345
>>333112582
come on bru i was joking
>>333110175
>games for autists
>DF with a non-default tileset in the background
>>333106000
Good game.
>>333107331
If you wanna git maximum guds you would play MP. There's a general over on /vg/ with a lot of people who like playing games of dom4.
If you just want to play singleplayer, don't really worry about it. It's actually in your interests to NOT get very good at dom4 if you want to enjoy it singleplayer, because you can fuck the computer up really easily once you get in to it.

Out of thsese:
X-com, really good but at this point I would honestly say Xcom 2 is better.
Dorf Fort, ridiculously in-depth but it can be clunky enough to play that you'll wanna stop. I played a fort over 10+ game years a few years back and haven't loaded it up again just because I don't feel like wrestling with it.
Open TTD, don't know. Played Transport Tycoon ages ago, don't remember it well.
AI War, never really got in to it. Sort of Supreme Commander on steroids was the impression I got, but didn't give it a fair shake.
Falcon, no data.
Vicky 2, have yet to play through Paradox games are usually worth it.
Nethack, really good although there are other arguably better options for roguelikes, depending on your personal tastes. Nethack tends to lean the most heavily on metagame knowledge rather than game mechanics knowledge.
TIS-100, no data but Zachtronics puzzle games are usually A+.
Orbiter 2010, no data.
Dom 4, gud gaem.
Eve, couldn't stand it.
Aurora, I could play Dorf Fort but Aurora puts me off.
Elite 2, never played it.
A-10C Warthog, bit of a weird thing to put a flight sim in autism list. It's certainly an autistic enough one, but eh.
La Mulana, no data.
Wizardry, why is it not Wizardry 8?
>>333112957
>>333113327
how is wizardry more autistic than the first one?
>>333113394
I love you too
>>333113938
Not gauging it based on autism, gauging it based on "Games to recommend to people".
>>333107681
This, I think Hex is the best online "MTG" game out there right now. Shame it will be ages before the PvE content is worth a damn
>>333114052
thx bru i'll put it on my list
I'm not sure if i'll pay DF tough
>>333112456
>WWII nuclear submarine
how?
>>333114042
>>333115129
Why didn't you make a trading thread, anon? Did you get tired of those?
