I kinda agree with Ignis / Cor / Gladio. Obviously there's some clear differences between them, but as far as FF party members go, they could be the same exact person.
Also think its stupid how the three main villains on Niflheim's side are all old men. They practically all have the same hairstyle.

Fuck off, he looks like that dude from The Force Unleashed who also looks like Nathan Drake. There is nothing wrong with Noctis design expect his clothes, which you can change. .

They're all western designed. No really, an Italian designed a lot of those characters in cooperation with Nomura. Anyway, you should consider playing FF12 from the sound of it.
