It's a guilty pleasure to me; story is nonsensical and the characters do not behaviour like human beings for like 90% of the time, but the combat is fun. Too bad that as a JRPG is too linear, too short, and with not that much things you can do.
And of course, the soundtrack was amazing.
Also, props for having Liam 'O Brien using a different tone of voice for once.

Biggest issue is that the game is way too fucking easy. It's got a very solid foundation though, so hopefully a sequel will improve on it. I imagine it'll get one since it sold fairly well in Japan and Asia in general.

Yes, a dream where i costantly get hammered in the face with preachy dialogues about politics, environment, racism and ethics. Standard stuff for a JRPG, but it's done so badly here.
