Literally WHY would anyone play a Souls game with this piece of shit controller?
>>333085175
>for people who prepurchased in march
thanks for nothing
I'd actually have considered it. If the controller is not absolute shit, it's probably cool for comfy couch gaming where I don't need to use that steam big picture shit but have a virtual mouse on the touchpad
>>333085175
Because Valve is sitting on a HUGE pile of Steam-Controllers that won't sell and they're getting desperate. Half Life 3 will only run when a Steam Controller is connected to the PC, even if you only play with mouse/keyboard and don't touch the controller.
>>333085175
I can only assume the Steam controller was focus tested extensively to be maximum comfort and practicality. this is Valve after all
what's shit about it?
I like my steam controller. What do you dislike about it?
Literally WHY would anyone play a Souls game with a controller?
Are you casu l or something?
>>333085615
It was pretty ass on launch, mostly due to haptic feedback going off whenever it wants to (even when you aren't playing a game), and that the mouselook function the right pad uses didn't work for a lot of first person or third person games. They've made a lot of updates, but I'm holding out for the inevitable v2.0 release.
>>333085932
so the technology's just not perfected yet? makes sense i guess
>>333085932
Don't forget the latency. These things were s fucking abortion, and the Jews made me fall for the meme.
>>333085175
>people ITT fell for the marketing
>people ITT bought steam controllers and steam machines
wew lads
>trackpads instead of sticks
WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD FUCKING IDEA
>>333085175
more like steaming pile of shit controller
>>333085175
Wow, you mean I can get something I don't want for only 60 percent of the price?
Let me just go hang myself with this rope I got with free shipping.
>>333086591
Because the track pad is far superior to a stick, I used to play fps games with my xbone controller and the steam controller blows it out of the water with accuracy
>>333086713
unrelatedly what the fuck was that VANS perk for? I never got it because it sounded useless
>>333086591
haptic feedback
>>333086881
>fps games
>steam controller
absolute fucking madman
>>333086881
>>333086881
>I used to play fps games with my xbone controller
>fps games with my xbone controller
opinion invalidated.
>>333085175
Because PCucks are slaves to Steam and will use anything they shit out.
I thought about getting this bundle whats wrong with a souls game on the steam controller?
>>333085175
The steam controller is fine for third person games tho
>>333086927
You use vats when not in combat and it shows a path to your objective. So pretty useless considering you have a map and compass thing
>>333088619
they took up an entire spot on the perk chart for THAT??
Didn't they do this bundle thing with another game recently?
The controllers must not be selling
>>333087678
steam controller is pretty weird because it doesn't have sticks and would take a long time to get used to
you'd be making a ton of mistakes in a game that rapes your pretty little butthole every time you make one
>>333085175
I wouldn't buy it for this game, but I would test it out of course
I'm actually more interested in hooking up a DS3 because I can't play the game with a 360 controller for shit
being forced to use the bumpers for the shield and main attack is fucking atrocious
>>333088942
I'm perfectly fine with dealing with a learning curb if anything that would make the souls experience more fun. I'm a long time fan of souls since demon souls so I'm not unfamiliar with getting rekt by the game and feeling like a casual. I just want to know whether or not the big learning curb is worth it.
>Steam Controller
Why would use that piece of shit?
