Forza 4. Because Forza 5 and 6 lack Tsukuba, Suzuka and Fujimi Kaido circuits. Forza 4 also has other interesting tracks to drift on, like Ladera and Iberian.
These tracks are great because you can link corners together.
Forza 5 and 6 have cars, but lack tracks. Same for Horizon 2.
It is possible to drift in GRID too, but it's an arcade game, and you don't have the clutch.
Current Forza games lack good track when it comes to drifting.

Depends on the kind of corner/race/track.

Yes. Simply braking doesn't work very well off-road so sliding and using the side of the tyres for friction is the best way to slow down and take a corner. This is also why they drift on downhill roads, since the decline carries their speed a lot more than on a flat track.

For arcadey drifting, this game had really fun and satisfying handling. The game countersteers for you but is still pretty responsive. Shame they never included an option to turn off all traffic while you're just free running around the map.

Most race-prep vehicles (official races) have wheels at 520-540 degrees of rotation.
As for drifting, In dirt racing the biggest reason you see cars sliding is actually weight transfer. Plus most of the events you'll actually see is AWD. Also its' fast to slide a 90 or hairpin then it is to take it at a normal speed, you don't usually see these in circuit racing.
In circuit racing traction is king, you can break traction to go around a corner faster yes, but you are eating up the tires doing it. *Citation heavily needed on "faster"*

It funny going through from the beginning and listening to how the sound changed. It really came to cater to more of the Initial D crowd from the late 90s to the mid 00s.And even then you can tell the guys that did pick the songs for Initial D were really cherry picking.

We have roads in Texas with 80mph speed limits that are two lanes.
They also slow down to 10-20mph for most of those corners.
I fucking love racing games, it's such a shame that Trackmania Turbo turned out shit and so did the new Need For Speed. What other games are coming out other than simulators?
