Not exactly. A lot of the same cards get used for computers and consoles, even a specially designed card isn't some god-product because it was designed, its just more efficient at what it does. I don't buy that a card will do much better for drastically cheaper just because it was 'specially designed for consoles'

How could I forget. It all makes sense now. They're going for the double dip, take your $400 for the "new" PS4 and then remind you that your t.v needs to be 4k as well. So you either go out and buy a new t.v that could very well be Sony brand or you don't get a new t.v and never realise that your games are just 1080p upscaled.
