Is it a video game or a walking simulator?

Simulator. But it's a good one.
>>
It's a video game.

Anyone who claims they know the definition of what a video game or what music is or any other artistic medium is a fucking teenager or manchild.
>>
>>333002462
Yes
>>
It has little to no actual gameplay but it was an enjoyable experience
Wouldn't pay full price for it though

The amount of irony dripping off your post is painful
>>
>>333002806
autist detected

walking simulator, objectively speaking
>>
>>333003042
What's the irony? I haven't studied video games, but I have studied art. And any artistic medium has an extremely vague definition of what categorizes it.

Any freshman in college would know this.

A self-aware walking simulator

its a revelation

Both

I figured /v/ would shit on this one. Pleasantly surprised people. Keep it up.
>>
>>333003156
seems reasonable

It has some gamey features (even though it's mockingly limited) like simple platforming, timer or timing based mini-games, and puzzles.

That makes it way more of a game than most Walking Simulators that literally just have you walk and see / listen, with no failure state, and the only victory condition being "get to the end".
>>
>>333002462
it's both and it's good.
>>
Explain how it isn't a video game.
>>
>moving a character through a virtual world is not gameplay
>>
>>333002462
I don't care what it was, I enjoyed it.
Just 2 more years until I can nab that achievement.
>>
>>333003801
Because I don't like it
>>
The only good Walking Simulator, because it knows it's stuck in a shit genre.

A good walking simulator commenting on video games

I recall it having at least one loss condition.

Because others like it
