Koudelka on the strength of its story would be as good as SH1-2 if it played like they did. But as a game it's a piece of shit.
I loved the first Shadow Hearts for being different. Never played a RPG that took place in near World War I.
The other two games... I admit, the weirdness was kinda offputting, but by the end, I wanted more. Fuck yes, I need gay porn to level up my puppet. Fuck yes I want Princess Anastasia watching a burly turk and vampire wrestle.

There are a pair of VERY homosexual tailors who will craft new outfits for the marionette. (Which change the element-type and teaches new moves.) And the fee to make a new outift was to get what I can only describe as gay porn hidden like a collectable.

It okay if you thought the plot was retarded but From the New World is one of the best games ever. The combat system is10/10, the pacing is great, and all the characters are super fun. No other game takes you on such a fantastic tour of America that's almost as accurate as Genji 2 in its portrayal of historic events.
