Mostly been going through the Tales games so I played the 3DS version of TotA and haven't been working on them for a while but I started Symphonia which I hear is a difficult platinum.
Anyone here have Super Meat Boy plat? How long would it take from scratch? I've never played Super Meat Boy prior.
I just platted N++ and wanted to go for SMB but don't want to waste a ton of time just to realize it's not worth it and is too time consuming.
iirc DaS1 and 2, RE Revelations 1 and 2, FFXIII, one other I can't remember
FFXIII was probably the hardest and longest because I didn't like the game that much but I was in denial about it, plus it was a grind at the end

I only have two, Bloodborne+DLC and Sengoku BAsara 4 Sumeragi, took less than 60 hours for the BB one and around 125 hours for Sumeragi, loved every second of it

MGSV and Resident Evil 0. I never thought I'd be able to do some of the missions with a good rating in general, and I always thought the speedruns were going to be impossible for a clumsy oaf like me. I had never been able to dodge zombies that well in ANY game and I've been going since the original RE1 PC release. But I did them both and didn't take long neither.

Honestly I have a ton of plats that took months to 1-2 years just because I didn't want to focus on them. Some games demand FAR too much investment into to plat in a single stretch without making you hate the shit out of the game. So honestly, I don't know, but my most recent was MGSV, 50 days. Played a lot almost every day but I enjoyed that.

If you really want to, you can cheat that trophy by backing up save, and loading it back whenever you didn't get a good run.
Not that under 15 deaths is particularly hard, I did it a few times just for fun normally after already having plat. I don't particularly want to ever fight the remix bosses again though, especially Alexander.

They can, sure. I myself actually grinded an extra 2000 grade so I can afford the huge levelgain modifier (I think it was x10?) on all subsequent playthroughs to really reduce the time spent. But some require bullshit like "Must reach this point in the game with a combined level of X" that throws a fucking wrench into the entire thing!
It requires a lot of pre-planning and careful play, its not as simple as just getting a bunch of shit at the grade shop and blazing through it. It can be done, you just need so much more patience than the average grindy plat.

Black Ops III plat was a long one to get due to the major grind for the decorations. The one I am working on now is PvZ GW2, the Really Epic trophy is all I have left and that one is just a long wait for an epic quest to pop up. You need 10 of them, unfortunatly they update the quest board every 2 days, sometimes an epic quest is not available.
