This entire wikipedia page is hilarious
>A skateboard park briefly existed, near the ski area's ski school building, but closed due to poor design after a season. Bowls were separated by pavement, which in many cases did not meet the edges smoothly. Former park employee Tom Fergus was quoted in the magazine Weird NJ saying that the "skate park was responsible for so many injuries we covered it up with dirt and pretended it never existed"
I love when Wikipedia inadvertently becomes comedy.

>>332968691
Gringotts is a virtual rides. It barely moves at all.
I really enjoy Disney Land.
RUBBER DINGHY RAPIDS BRO
Pic related was the first big coaster I went on. This happened to it once:
>Rollercoaster decapitates young deer and leaves screaming passengers showered in blood
>The young deer was reportedly decapitated instantly by the family ride, which is 1.7m long and hurtles through deep and dark acres of forest at speeds of up to 50mph.
>>332969389
It's just an efficient ride in general, I like that. It's how they should be.
>>332968691
>Runaway Mine trains and Florida/California Space Mountains are about my limit.
You'll be fine. Escape from Gringotts as a coaster ride is really not intense at all. There is maybe one actual drop of about 30 feet.
It's all cgi movies letting you think you're moving. It's a real family ride.
On that note, don't spoil yourself by looking on youtube at the ride, since the biggest experience of the ride is the movie you're watching during the ride.
Also, be prepared for a long wait in line.

Planet Coaster. The only thing RCTW has going for it right now is the fact it's released.

Drop towers are seemingly the worst rides for accidents.
Kids who are too small get on, wriggle out of the restraints, the ride vehicle is partially launched downwards so it goes faster than gravity. Kid lifts away from the vehicle.
Splat.
Another one that's happened is that a person was kicking a piece of the flooring, wedged her foot into the gap. Ride vehicle shot up. Foot stayed behind.

You've had 80 threads about the one fucking looping water slide, so why not have a 81st.
>>332980818
>headset flies off when you go over loop
>oops, there goes a few hundred down the drain
>happens about 50 times a day
>>332981162
Are you the fucking owner of Action Park or something? Chill the fuck out! Why are you getting so mad and defensive over nothing?
>>332981197
They're attached to the train, genius.
>>332967163
call me a pleb but expedition everest
I'm a sucker for intricate theming
>>332981319
well how do i fit my abnormally large head in it then
>>332981513
Nothing pleb about that. Good theming adds to any ride.
>RCTW has beta last year
>looks like complete shit
>devs get told so
>delay game
>announce a week or so ago that they're going early access for final polish
>comes out on early access
>it's actually even worse than the beta
>peeps sound like they're fucking on the coasters
>most animations don't work right
>prebuilt coasters all look like the devs have never seen a roller coaster before
>constant glitches
>can't even build basic paths without the game falling apart
>people calling them out on it are getting banned left and right on their forums
>dev's twitter is all positive and upbeat like there's nothing wrong
>on track to surpass SC2013 as simulation blunder of the century
How? It's like they fucking TRIED to make the worst game possible. The only entertainment is when they take it out of early access a few months from now and it's still a fucking messthe anal annihilation from people who for some reason didn't get a refund will be glorious
>>332973514
>fatman jumps the slide and goes into a crowd of people
oh god my fucking sides
>Want to try out Caster Planet
>Want to wait until it has more shit in it
>Still want to try it out every time I see it
God I really hope they pull it off and it ends up as good as it looks.
>>332981710
>>peeps sound like they're fucking on the coasters
that's not a negative
>>332982003assuming Caster Planet is supposed to be Planet Coaster, and you just twisted it apart in your autistic mind.
If every feature they add from here on out is simply serviceable, it'll still go on to be the best theme park simulator in years.
The only feature that RCTW has over PC that I'm not confident will come to PC anyway is the support for custom scenery.
I'd gladly see Atari go down if it meant that Frontier would take the coaster glory for future generations since it's clear Atari are far too out of it in almost all aspects. The only downsides I've got with PC are the whole generic hipster-tier guitar music and plenty of people with disgusting hair dye.
>>332970164
>released
It's an alpha, just like Planet Coaster
>Planet Coaster
>from the people who brought us RCT3, a bunch of kinect shovleware, ED, and that recent zoo tycoon that was xbox exclusive
>people are saying it's actually good
I don't believe you
>>332982003
It already has lots of things and is totally worth it right now. The coaster building is amazing
>>332982914
Download the alpha then.
It's 10 times better than any RCT at equal features
>>332972124
Former water park life guard here (Six Flags America), Wave Pools are fucking nightmares to watch. They tend to be pretty large, a lot of people, kids get cocky and go out to points where they really can't swim even without the waves and people rough house way too much. It was even worst for us because our wave pool had two guard positions on cement pillars half way out in the pool, meaning you had 360 degrees of swimmers to watch.
We only put the experienced guards out in the wave pool because that place was genuinely dangerous. I've got some crazy stories from working there though.
>>332982914
Beggars can't be choosers.
>>332982965
>$75
>no management
>no peep preferences
>unfinished coasters
>worth it
Game looks like it'll be good, not even pirating it, but fuck that.
>>332973514
>Riders can rotate 360 degrees.
>>332983554
If you do want to try the alpha, there are downloads for it. And it's a nice alpha too. Not worth 75 fucking bucks, but definitely worth your attention.
>>332982914
Alpha is pretty barebones for now, but what's there is pretty good. The building system is great and the coaster builder is pretty good. Only thing that isn't so hot is the path building system, which works but you can't create plazas and you end up having to do a ridiculous amount of fiddling around to get what you want. Holing they'll patch it up since it's still early alpha but who knows
>>332983554
In what way coasters are unfinished ?RCT doesn't have roller coasters despite his name and you pay full price
>>332975524
>Universal Debuffs fast passes.
>Increases wait times across the board with the new lockers patch.
>>332967163
Spehss Mountain
>>332983554
I personally prefer to have coasters in a game called "something something coaster" than peep preferences but that's my opinion
>>332983721
Not bait. To gain early access legally, you have to pay $75.
The regular game will be $30/
>>332979140
Cedar Point is probably the best rollercoaster park in the US, maybe the best in the world. Its completely worth the trip.
>>332979258
Top thrill is mediocre. Its faarrrrr too short for how long you have to wait in line.
>>332984342
You're funny anon
>Watch somebody build a park in theme park management game
>It looks fucking kick ass
>Everything I build is a shitty flat wasteland with some foliage, rocks, statues and a bit of water in the middle
>>332984508
Boy do I fucking wish.
Just pick a game and post coasters.
>>332984772
Just build on unlevel ground and plonk trees everywhere. It makes even shitty designs look nice.
>>332984863
What in the name of Zeus
Planet Coasters has a lot of promise, but I have no idea how you can release a $75 alpha and not even have coaster building in it.
>>332985204
It has the coaster building in it. It's RCT that hasn't
>>332985313
Stop spreading misinformation to shill your game. Let Planet Coaster stand on its own merit, without lying.
>>332985018
Frontier isn't a humble indie studio, so they feel like they can get away with some jewery. It also helps that, much how Microsoft basically gave Sony the win at E3 2013, Roller Coaster Tycoon World looks like absolute ass, making Planet Coaster look good without it having to do anything.
>>332985204
If you type "underconstruction" in the ride search you can unlock it.
>>332984943
Incoming dump.
>>332985434
You're the one spreading misinformation her anon
>>332985747
I sure am building all these coasters in RCTW with no coaster builder...
>>332985747
Not him but you're fucking retarded. RCTW has a coaster builder available right now. In fact, one of the funny glitches is banking rollover (going beyone 360 degrees in either direction, making it impossible to return to the station without flipping it back to zero)
>>332985849
If it has the coaster building then why every steam reviews complain about this particular lacking feature?
Can you make coasters that go underwater in Planet Coaster?
>>332967163
Gatekeeper at Cedar Point.
