Faggots will sasy Luminous, but looking at the technology behind Luminous and comparing it to Unreal 4, Unreal 4 is miles ahead in every aspect.
UE4 hands down.
UE4 is much easier to use, much more scaleable and generally far more robust and has actual tech support.
Luminous was coded by the same guy who made Fox Engine (he made Luminous for SE before he left and joined Konami to make Fox) and is considerably older, has no tech support and generally inferior to UE4.

I don't take promises. I wait until it's avaliable.
I imagine that unreal is a lot easier to work with and produces similar results to the luminous engine.
I would even go so far to say that FFVIIR looks better in some aspects than FFXV. but maybe that's due to it's episodic nature.

Demo was 720p on Xbone and 900p on PS4.
