I'm not one to usually say this kinda thing but does anyone else think this game feels, I don't know, exploitative?
>threadly reminder that the game uses actual screams of the kid in pain recorded by the father
dragon dildos cause dragon cancer
ITS SO EMOTIONAL

At least according to a German magazine:
http://www.gamestar.de/spiele/that-dragon-cancer/test/that_dragon_cancer,51930,3242114.html
>Joel ist nicht zu sehen, aber Jenn hört ihn. Joel schreit vor Schmerz, er schlägt seinen Kopf gegen die Gitter der Krippe.
>Es sind seine echten Schreie, die sein Vater aufgenommen hat.
"Joel is nowhere to be found but Jenn hears him. Joel is screaming in pain, he's banging his head against the bars of the crib. They're his real screams that his father recorded."

I ain't playing that shit nigga.
I can understand the point the game was trying to make and while it is made to effectively be a "feels" simulator, I'm not entirely sure if this is the right way to go about it. There are better ways of incorporating your feelings and grief for the subject matter and this is not one of them.
Also, if anything, the game should have just been an animated short, since you can get the same experience on youtube.

>exploitative
If something like that happened to me, I know I'd look at a ways to make people feel with me, suffering alone is the worst thing ever. It has a price because a lot of work went into it, it could have been a book and the price would have been justified.
That's how I feel about it, I didn't play it because I don't really need that right now.
I don't think it's ethical at all. Almost as if since this child is dead to him already, he's going to make as much money from the kids situation.
Is it for profit? Or is he donating all proceeds to a cancer research charity?
>tfw had cancer and don't want to play this "game"I cried too hard at the movie 50/50 in public.

He was complaining that people were watching it on Youtube instead of buying it, and released a documentary of the game being made for 10 dollars
I died because of cancer and I want to say the game isn't as engaging as my own death was.

> released a documentary of the game being made for 10 dollars
For a second I understood that as that it's a documentary about how the game was made on a ten Dollar budget and honestly, it sounded pretty believable.
It's the Artist mindset.
They're fucking weird.
It's the Cancer mindset.
They're fucking dragons.

What an artsy faggot name, Jesus Christ that's some high cringe
>no cancer dragons anywhere
shit game
>>332938730
Donating it would be stupid, you can at least pay for your kid's chemo with it.
>>332936130
This can't be true.
>>332937534
Now that's just fucked up
