Zezima was a shared account between three people. I used to have a screenshot if his confession. If you befriended them, they kept pretty quiet for a while and just kept you at a distance to avoid awkward conversations, but then after a few months it came out.
I kind of feel bad for reporting him, but I was jealous of that rank. He only got a temp ban, and I was removed from his friends list.

The interface ribbon is a fucking travesty, but the action bar, while it was fairly disappointing early on, has improved. The biggest flaw with EoC was always how it essentially forced players to choose sub-par click-and-wait combat or go full manual and roll through the number line. Revolution turned it into a happy medium where you could set basic abilities to fire off automatically in order of left to right with cooldown priority. Truthfully, EoC while I saw potential in it early on started to grate on me because it was basically bog standard keyrolling, but Revolution makes it feel fairly different to other MMOs to me now and I see it as a fairly significant improvement over the old combat system, mechanically speaking.
The bot nuking annihilated like 80%+ of RuneScape's playerbase. There were a lot of bots that hid that fact fairly well, but even they were not spared.

While I appreciate the customizable interface now, it can at times be too much of a pain in the ass for some folks and an unlikeable interface aesthetic, so there is a "Legacy Interface" that changes the UI from a customizable clusterfuck to a simple and easy to navigate, uncustomizable interface. You may wish to look into this one, see if you like it better.

Really though, the writer for the Zanik saga of quests as well as many others left Jagex for reasons I personally am not aware of. The end result was a travesty of a quest with a poor narrative where the entire area was made of pieces of another area in another, far better quest, stitched together and repainted to a slightly different colour.
As for why Zanik looks like that, I know not. They turned her from a big-eyed goblin into... a diminutive green grandma.
And on low detail mode she looks like this.
Her next incarnation in Nomad's Elegy was significantly better, but had the issue of again, not being a goblin, but basically turning her into a green-skinned gnome from WoW.
