Yes, an online friend that I've known for like, 10 fucking years, just suddenly removed me. We didn't talk very often lately but I found it hurtful that he would just cut me off like that with no explanation or anything

I don't mind it, especially since they get removed from your list as well. In all cases its a mutual lack of communication. Better than Skype where people are still on your list with a question mark and you end up figuring out who that guy was in the first place before removing.

Why do they do this? I don't mind people not speaking to me, in fact I prefer it unless you have something in particular you want to talk about. But why add somebody you don't actually speak to about anything? Especially if you can't hold a conversation.
