It kind of depends on what you mean by "overhaul", but as far as balance mods go, I like to use Vicious Wastes and PN. I installed PN for shit like sprint, enhanced vision, etc., the actual balancing I leave to VW.

So I've been roleplaying with this guy for a couple of weeks now. He's incredibly good at writing, and describes his actions with such nuance and depth that every session is fresh and exciting. He plays a super mutant and I'm his willing cum-slut. After he returns from a long trek in the wastes he brings back food and nice clothes for me to wear, I spend the rest of the day servicing him in whatever way I can. It's pretty fucking hot.
I still have the save before I finished Dead Money.
Should I go back and get the gold? Or should I let go?

NCR RANGER BOYS
Playing Fallout 4 and realizing how dogshit it is compared to New Vegas.
I used the alternate start mod to make a cute NCR girl named Amber who only uses rifles and shit. Tagged Survival, Guns, and Speech. I started off at Bravo camp and went out to investigate Camp Guardian. After rescuing the lone soldier left alive there, I wiped out the fishniggers and their king with my brush gun and the C4/grenades I found along the way. Shit was intense. I grabbed my comrades equipment and dog tags and legged it out of there. Hiked on over to the strip area and I'm helping out around McCarran right now.

It took me 5 hours to realize Fallout 4 was utter dogshit.
I don't know why I finished it and I don't know why I'm playing it now. It's just worse than NV in every way except gunplay. But even the gunplay is only marginally better with no weapon condition or ammo types.

makes caps worth more, makes the jobs you take as a character matter because you need money to eat and drink and buy ammo rather than just to put a check next to the quest in your pip boy
helps a lot with roleplaying too for that same region. You might have to do jobs you wouldn't usually have because you need dosh, or kill or steal etc
