The difference incarnations of the DS never upgraded the CPU or GPU's. The 4K upscale only really benefits those with fuckhueg TVs, and 30->60FPS increase only works if the devs decide to update the game in question, and even then it won't work well if they don't have framedata and shit like that properly set up (See: Bloodborne, as even if From updated it, it would have the double-damage shit and whatnot found in 60FPS Souls games)

PS4 does have more people playing at 33k right now. While it's 10k more people then PC, 23k people is still a fuckton and you won't be running into the same people. Keep in mind that multiplayer games with dedicated servers tend to live far longer on PC.
Gravity Rush and Bloodborne do look good and are two of the games that make the PS4 look like it's worth getting. But buying a console for yearly/semiyearly multiplatform FPS releases when you already have a PC that can run them is just stupid.

My guess is that it will use some kind of funky upscaling on the 1080p games to try and smooth them out without rendering them at 4k, and it will have support for UHD Blu Rays and 4k netflix. There is no way it will actually render games like Bloodborne natively at 4k.

Complete and utter horseshit. I used a 40" 1080p TV (55 PPI) as a monitor for years, and recently upgraded to a korean 39.5" 4k 110PPI monitor, and it is a world of difference. I even compared them side to side and after getting used to the 4k, the test on the 1080p screen seems straight up blurry now.

The only game that have a notable performance difference on O3DS is Hyrule Warriors, they should have made it N3DS exclusive but they are fucking jews and released a obviously N3DS optimized game for the O3DS.
