Dark Souls never drew me in like DeS did. I had to chug through most of it hoping it would eventually pick up and give me that Demon's Souls feeling but it never did. Haven't even touched Dark Souls 2 because of that.
I hear Bloodborne is a lot like DeS but I'm not sure if its worth getting a PS4 just for it.

Yeah, and the combat is deeper because of it, but I tended to find myself staying with the one weapon for the the whole play through because I used all my bone shards upgrading it. So all in all, for me, less variety.

The thing is e eryone is going to have the same weapon.
The fact that there's no boss drops, they just have blood gems to give you stats in order to save themselves the work of making a new weapon with different stats.

This is the correct order. DeS is a great, great game, but it falls just behind Das/BB IMO. DaS2 is good game, but a terrible souls game.
