I binged the whole first 3 volumes with my buddy over some beers and it was amazing fun filled with laughssome with the show and some at it.If you're watching it for anything else you're watching it wrong.
To me its a guilty pleasure now. I don't expect anything from it because I accepted what it was a long time ago and Im having a blast with the show and the game despite both being shit.

The show is a weird, awkward, and crazy 13 year old's wet dream. I watched some of it, but it's truly terrible to stick with. The fights are cool, but nothing makes sense and no one ever gets hurt.

Most people hate it because it's tedious and nothing like the previous Digimon World games. I like it because it's all of the fun of a Korean MMO, but without the hassle of dealing with obnoxious Koreans, children, or gold sellers. Just you and maybe some friends if they also have time to dump into playing this. I'll admit I was confused at first, though, since it continued to reference X-Evolution, which I had never watched.

I like the DmC rebootIt's not as complex as previous DMC games but it's fun in its own right when judged independently from the series. It's not a great DMC game but if it came out without the name tied to it I think a lot more people would have liked it. Especially at 60fps and with the difficulty modifications in the definitive edition.If you play through the entire game, Donte isn't as edgy as everyone makes him out to be.

I dislike the game for a lot of gameplay-related reasons but honestly I am tired of typing them the fuck out. In very short, platforming, cutscenes, scripting, postprocessing, platforming, bosses, and removal of manual lockon in favor of auto. They all combine into one mega-fuck.

Like others have said, it's really fun with friends, but i found that i un-ironically enjoyed the show a lot.
Other than production quality and voice acting, I'm not terribly sure what makes other people slam it so hard. Honestly, the production quality and voice acting are kind of the charm for me too. I really like stuff that's done by a smaller group of people like this
As to the plot, I think it's fine. It's not just ground breaking or anything like that, but it gets the job done. What makes the show more interesting is the creativity of the world, weapons, and powers. Those things really stick out to me as the show's strengths.
Probably the biggest weakness of the show is the characterization. Namely, not enough of it.

After marathoning the first 3 seasons with my bros its actually highly enjoyable. Voice acting and wonky animation with a lackluster plot aside its really fun to watch. I'm actually looking forward to the next season because season 3 showed so much fucking promise.

It's an edgy 13 year olds wet dream at times. At other times, it's somewhat tolerable. A lot of characters are weak. Some feel very alive. The plot is so weak that I want to vomit, but some events turn my expectations upon their head, so I need to get some fucking closure.
I would never recommend this show to anybody, but I am attached to a few of the characters and the desire to see them smile is what keeps me going.
Weiss is the perfect tsundere and best girl. Jaune becomes a compelling character. Blake is fucking dog shit. Everybody else is alright, I guess.
