What was the first game that had great voice acting? And by great I mean legit good voice acting, not "so bad it's good" voice acting like Castlevania SotN or the original Resident Evil.

What are some examples? I think Souls (DeS and DaS anyways, haven't played the rest yet) has some pretty solid acting, if kinda "off" at times.
