I'm looking for games that evoke a feeling of hopelessness.
Was just thinking of X-Men DoFP and the sentinel timeline was just dark as fuck.
The Last of Us gave me a nice feeling of hopelessness as I played it, so did the Resistance and Gears of War games to a degree. Any other games that kinda make you feel like there's no real "winning", with the only real goal being not dying a horrible death by the end?

I thought it was fucking awful. Boring in every way (except gameplay, which is just more polished DS2 gameplay), and it even felt unfinished, or maybe just rushed. Fun with a friend though, but that's the only thing it's got going for it, the coop. Would not recommend for that 'hopeless feeling', but would recommend as a bro-op game.
