I'm plenty enthusiastic about games in the coming years, but I fail to see what makes this any different from Far Cry Primal with robot dinosaurs that are completely interchangeable with regular dinosaurs. If you want to hunt dinosaurs, play Turok. If you want to play a disappointing game, play Far Cry Primal or the Division. Those 3 games sum up just about all of Horizon and only 1 of them is actually good.

For the ?th time, The Witcher 3 has a much better aesthetic and TECHNOLOGY that makes up for graphical shortcomings, and had to be downgraded from it's original form. If the Witcher 3 looks so shitty and Horizon looks so good then why would Horizon not be downgraded? It is still an upcoming game from a company which hasn't shine so far. It is like hoping that the next Michael Bay movie will be excellent. If it happens to be excellent, then it will be a good surprise. But so far, we have nothing concrete, no bone to chew on, just promises, words and names.

The only very good recent games that I can see coming from first party studios are Bloodborne (thanks to From Software) and Tearaway. Most Sony games are underwhelming actually. Even Gravity Rush had an average gameplay. It was fun, but a real lackluster in the combat part. Everything excepting the floating/gravity part was floaty as hell.
It just looks like more media with more political correctness. Discussion outside of video games within my circle of friends and locally has somewhat turned me off to even looking at certain things. Shame the game was developed in this era and falls under that umbrella.
