I played this game when it launched. Got it for a discounted price on PC. So this was before any patches or fixes that came way too late.
While having drank 2/3 a bottle of Single Barrel Jack Daniels, one hand busy helping me sip more of a Jack & Coke, other hand on the controller, while talking to a stream I was doing and reading the chat...
I was able to get S ranks in combat.
This wasn't in the beginnings of the game either. This was somewhat after the sniper-rifle abortion scene.
So yes, this game is shit and always will be shit.
Because I picked it up sometime after its fixes.
Enemies still feel like they would rather be doing anything else than trying to fight you.
