>indie game
>has denuvo drm
>dev is pro always online for singleplayer game

how much cancer can they cram into one game?
>>
>>332316089
*for singleplayer games
>>
what is wrong with denuvo
>>
>>332316616
kills hard drives
>>
>>332316089
>The development team envision the game as a "first-person experience", purposefully avoiding violence. Orth compares the game to the upheaval in his life following his controversial comments about the Xbox One's DRM proposal.

So it's a walking simulator about someone's feelings? I'm glad I can't pirate it
>>
>>332318001
yes it is
>>
>>332316616
fucks the performance of even your $5000 Petition Compiling Sloppy Seconds Race into the sub 30fps ass
no modding support - EVER
rapes hard drives although it gets vehemntly denied by the DDF (Denuvo Defense Force)
>>
>>332318447
also your games even singleplayer games are worthless and can't be played anymore when the publisher decides to turn off the server (EA does this every year)
>>
>>332318447
any actual proof that it fucks up harddrives or is it just babbys whining because they can't crack it?
>>
>>
>>332320172
why would you buy this
>>
>>332318945
It goes berzerk on some HDDs, but I only experienced it in AK. I could make a video of what happens but its pretty easy to explain. Basically, my super old HDD starts sounding like a 80 year old diesel engine when I put AK on it

Whether this is harmful or not I dunno, but I doubt its good

*braces for denuvo defense force*
>>
>>332320454
>AK

what's that
>>
>>332320620
arkham knight i'm guessing, no idea why any sane person would buy that piece of shit
>>
>>332320620
arkham knight, the most well known game in the denuvo debacle and as far as I'm aware the only one that fucks up although I haven't played JC3 and the new NFS yet

Also Mad Max and MGSV didn't have the same issue, they ran just fine, and I played them pirated go figure heh
>>
>>332320785
dont worry m8 it was the cpy version, on sale for 100% all year round

also it gets refunded on steam no matter how many played hours you have in it so yeah. Its fucking unplayable unless you have an SSD though
>>
>>332320915
>dont worry m8 it was the cpy version, on sale for 100% all year round

thank god m8
>>
>>332320293
just wanted to see how the game looks and then return it :^)
>>
>>332320793
Because they were well optimized
Still TPP runs worse than GZ
>>
>>332321779
yeah gz ran like an early 7th gen game, almost dmc4 tier
>>
>>332321938
And TPP is worse because Denuvo
Ah well, good thing I'm not interested in any upcoming game on pc
>>
>>332320793
It's a goddamn urban myth started by some fucking russian. Since then no one has even tried to prove anything. AK sucked ass because WB sucks ass, even Origins sucked ass (perfomance). You think that AK wasn't fixed just because they didn't want to remove the DRM? They lost A LOT of sales thanks to the controversy.

So to anyone that thinks that Denuvo tanks performance just think of these four letters: MGSV.
>>
>>332322121
not even the complete version of hitman?
cyberpunk 2077?
deus ex mankind divided?
dark souls 3?
routine?
mirrors edge 2?
no man's sky?
doom?
>>
>>332322121
You think think TPP runs worse than GZ because of DRM? Not maybe, I don't know, because it's an open world game? I know it's hard to believe but open world games, even empty ones like V need more computing power.
Even then the game ran like a dream.

the real issue with the game isn't that it's DRM, but that it looks like another movie game
>>
>>332322357
Don't like hitman
Cyberpunk 2077 is vaporware, huge hype but release is very far away, besides CDPR is against drm and thus I'll buy it day 1
DXMD I'm on the fence, my experience with DXHR was good but not that good, certainly not a day 1 buy unless it literally gets fantastic reception, like 95+ metascore and fantastic reception on /v/ as well, so probably a low budget buy or pirate down the road
Never played souls games
No idea what routine is
Didn't like ME1 so 0 interest in ME2
0 interest in no man's sky
Doom is very tempting but I don't like what I saw too much, basically see DXMD
Biggest hype for me now is probably KH3 just ahead of CP2077 but that's so far away it's not even funny
Scalebound is a game I'm very interested in but probably won't play unless there's a version that's not on the win store because fuck that bullshit
I guess FFXV is hype as fuck too and I'll probably get a ps4 for it
And, I dunno, nier automata is another hype game
>>332322515
Maybe
Unless someone does a side by side comparison with both drm and drm-free versions we'll never know for sure
>>
>>332323964
seems you're on the wrong board then
>>>/jp/
>>
>>332325341
Why?
>>
>>332325510
you're only "hype" for weeb titles
>>
How can a Japanese gane be weeb?
Besides CP2077 is probably gonna be great but it's just far away
CDPR themselves said it's due from 2017 to 2021
And there's nothing else western that interests me
Maybe ME Andromeda but I'm dubious because Bioware was hit or miss lately
What do I look forward to? CoD? Might be good but IW hasn't made a truly good game in 7 years
Ass Creed is next year and maybe it'll be good because I liked AC Syndicate and the 1 year hiatus will probably be beneficial
Battlefield might be interesting but 0 news as of now
Watch Dogs 2 I'm actually somewhat positive because AC2 was fantastic and a huge improvement but I doubt it'll be a 2016 and ubisoft on pc is shit recently
What else is there?
Oh yeah FFVII and RE2 remake, those are definitely hype
Maybe new TES game? It's probably years away
Fallout Obsidian? I fucking wish
I guess RE7 but still far far away
Actually I'd love another Saints Row game, I'd really do but there's no news

Oh, it's that clown. I'm surprised he had money to spend on Denuvo licensing after basically getting blacklisted from the industry.
