That's exactly what happened to my last PSP. I learned a hard lesson that day. Never try to clean dust from under a screen, it's fucking impossible.
I have a 2000 now. It's a run down piece of shit, but at least the screen isn't a two layer mess for dust to get trapped under. One of these days I'm going to buy a new housing and screen for it, and restore it myself.

These are on Amazon, but this is not an actual release for a new PSP model in the States. These are just the PAL releases being sold on Amazon.
The PSP Go is the best console ever made. Even if part of the reason for that is CFW with Emulators. The amount of shit you can play on it is unreal for such a small device. Sucks that SNES emulatation is kind of meh on it though when Genesis/MegaDrive stuff is pretty much flawless.

You have the list of applications in /PSP/GAME, and then you enter a folder, and then enter another folder level to see the EBOOT.PBP.
You should be at /PSP/GAME and only enter one folder to see the EBOOT.PBP
