As it says in the instructions for the pack, you get really annoying flickering unless you either disable dual core or lock the gpu thread; either way, it's a major performance hit and even on my 2600K it dips every now and then if I use the latest release. Instead, I switched to a branch called Ishiiruka

which has some additional speedhacks that pretty much keep me at 100% at all times.
Lastly, in order to get the biggest performance increase you have to use DX11 which has issues with AA, so I just increase the internal resolution to like 8x(a sort-of hacky way of enabling SSAA/downsampling). Also for some reason this only works properly on the stable release of Ishiiruka, on the latest build downsampling doesn't seem to work properly(on my rig at least, I do have an AMD card though I don't know if that's the culprit) and everything still looks jaggy.

Oh yeah I forgot to add that not all the textures in the game have been upscaled yet. In fact in the OP screenshot if you look closely you can see that Hayzee is not actually included in the pack. I encourage anyone who knows even a little Photoshop/Illustrator/whatever to contribute, I'll probably add some stuff once I'm done with my current playthrough; I'm pretty decent at vector so I could probably do a lot actually if I weren't borderline-autistic with all the little details.Also I'm thinking of doing a texture pack for PM64 but that's a much bigger undertaking because aside from that one shitter who ruined the artstyle nobody else has made one yet; also 64 has a more classic cartoon look, so getting the curvature and thickness of the lines exactly right is even more important than with TTYD
