You know damn well Nintendo wouldn't have put a better screen in there whether it was 3D or not, and in most cases the 3D adds to the experience. Builders is really good though. I'm glad I imported the Vita version, though... no way in hell they'll bring that version over.
I'd pirate Joker 3 already since SE is a dick no matter what region and it won't really affect how much of a success the game will be in the long-run, but I'm lazy right now.

Builders is minecraft-ish, yeah. It's got a mostly pre-determined world and more of a focus on city building though.

not gonna lie that the original screens are really underwhelming now that I have a new 3DS, but it was still good.

It's kind of like Minecraft with a story to it. You do quests for people and rebuild the world.
Hell the story I've heard is pretty fucking sweet. At the end of DQ1 the Dragon Lord ask if you want to join him. In DQ1 if you said yes you just die and return to the king and have to go all the way back to the Dragon Lord again. In Builders the story is the Hero actually agrees to join and so Alefgard (the world of DQ1) gets destroyed. And now it's up to you as the only one with the power to build to bring back how it use to be.

I'm pretty sure they'll bring Builders over on PS4, with a PC port. Heroes did well enough on PC and I'm sure they think there's a market for it on PC. Hell - I'd probably buy it again on PC if it did get a port.
Joker 3 I'm not so sure about. Doesn't matter for me anymore though, so whatever.
2ds is excluded because Iwant to see 3d and it looks like uunwieldy shit and hilariously in my country it's not even cheaper. I'm thinking about getting new now.. Is it much better than original?

Honestly I just want more Dragon Quest. I fucking hate SE for fucking us over. If we got everything but DQ10 I would have been happy. I still would have at least like to try out DQ10 but us getting everything else would have been great. But they decided to just go fucking retarded for the last 5+ years. 3D was fun to begin with, and it's fun to toggle on for certain things, but hardly anyone takes the time to do it right. First party games do it fuckin right, and it looks nice.

I love my 3DS, but I agree on the gimmick. I think the 3D effect is cool, but I rarely ever use it. Doesn't really add to the experience imo, and no games I've played ever utilize it well. I would have gladly traded that for more power or resolution like you said. Motion controls, AR reader, and virtual reality stuff are way cooler.
