How much longer are you going to ignore the pain in your hand, anon?
Forever.
Fuck you.
It hurts so much.
I can't lift shit anymore.
>>332137659
I don't give a fuck anymore.
I am dead on the inside.

Until it becomes ubearable, at which point I will most likely see a doctor and regret my poor posture.
>>332137659
It's already way too late, so why bother at this point?
>>332137659
Until the pain in my heart is gone.
god dammit i didn't come into this thread to hate myself
What have you done to improve your lifestyle this week, /v/?
>>332137659
Until the pills and the bracer aren't enough.
I think I have a couple more years of leeway, I'll get to play some good games in that time.R- right?
>actually developing carpel tunnel unironically
>>332140004
fuck you. my ironic carpel tunnel will never stop being funny
A single day playing gives me the pains now. It seems I'm getting old.
>>332137659
I stopped playing melee, so I don't get the pain anymore.
>>332137659
Don't do this, it creates mustard gas.
>>332137659
MY HAND LIQUIDDDDDD GET OUT OF MY HEADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Sounds like you guys need to do some exercise.

>>332140937
the manga is total shit but the anime is pretty good

>put palm in line with wrist/forearm
>make a fist but with thumb inside fingers
>bend wrist and pull thumb in direction of little finger
Gives a nice good stretch

rode my bike to work

began doing push-ups for upper body strength/definition

MY SWORD HAND TWITCHES
I don't really feel pain in my hand, but god DAMN my wrist crack so fucking much. I guess this is what I get for jacking off for hours.

Pic related, all pain in my hand via over using mouse cleared up in a day.
I can even switch to my left hand comfortably.
>>332141779
Take your degenerate behavior elsewhere
>>332137659
Feel nothing in hand, see this post. Suddenly feel slight tinge in my wrist, not major but it's there.
It's a placebo effect right guys? Please tell me it's a placebo
>>332141779
I use an ergonomic mouse with an ergonomic mousepad.
I doubt that thing can help much.
>>332141936
Yeah Anon, it's a placebo.Just like your manual breath
>>332141901
I'M SORRY I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER BOTH OF MY HANDS WORKING 100% PAIN FREE
>tfw should have carpal tunnel syndrome due to so much mouse use
>but don't
>instead some other tendons and muscles tend to bulge up fast in the arms when doing shit like peeling potatoes and eventually begin to hurt if I keep it up
certain wrist related moves do it and it is fucking weird
Only my right hands index finger hurts. Nothing else. What did they mean by this?
>>332141981
define ergonomic
>>332141779
You're assuming that everyone here with wrist pain has it from carpel tunnel from overuse of a mouse and keyboard and not from something else unrelated.
>>332137659
Jokes on you. I lost feeling in my hand years ago when I smashed it moving furniture.
>putting together new desk chair so I can play vidya all weekend
>tightening one of the bolts on the base and my hand slips
>hand slams against the metal base of chair and it fucking its obviously
>check my finger and it's of course bleeding
>closer examination it's not just some little cut it's a gash going halfway across my middle finger and spreads open a 1/4th of an inch when I bend my finger
I bandaged it up but had to put a makeshift splint on it to keep from bending my finger so the wound would stay together. It's better today but hurts to much when I hold a controller so no vidya this weekend...
>>332141981
It does if your wrist was killing from going side to side like mine.
Zero wrist movement at all with ergonomic mice.
>tfw most likely broke or fractured my toe the other day and had a hypochondriac meltdown thinking it might be diabetes or something just as severe
i was sedentary for too long and thought it was being punished for it or some other irrational thought. live an alright lifestyle now and i just kind of snapped for some reason.
i should still see a doctor
>>332142214
you aren't supposed to move your wrist from side to side when you use a mouse lmao
>people not educating themselves on the dangers of carpel tunnel
>not having pain in your hand
I have carpal tunnel syndrome from work, plumbing. My brother, dad, and grandpa all have it, and all were plumbers.
If I don't work for a week or two, it dies down, but never goes away. Wearing splints at night is a world of difference though. Without them I wake up in the middle of the night with numb hands and sharp, shooting pain in my elbows. My finger tips go numb every now and then, but I just gotta rest my hands at my side and shake them to get the feeling back.
Wear splints to bed if you don't. It'll change your life.
My pain actually went away finally, I never did find out exactly what was wrong with my wrist/thumb but damn it felt like hell. Sometimes if I bent the wrong way I could feel my bone grating around halfway up my arm, or the bottom joint of my thumb would pop out.
Now that I'm wiggling my thumb around I can still feel it a little, but it's not near as bad as it used to be
Used to get wrist tendonitis a lot a few years ago. Started doing those wrist exercises and haven't had a problem since.
>>332142097
Well when I bought them both they said ergonomic. Supposedly molded for long hours in front of the computer and so your hand fits better.
I've got bigdickasaurus. My dick is too big and it keeps breaking all of my shit.
>do some hand excersizes during cutscenes or whatever
>find a little stress ball too maybe
bam saved you a trip to herr doktor.
>>332137659
What kind of femboy gets carpal tunnel syndrome from playing videogames?
>>332142214
You need to rise the speed of the mouse if you have to move it from side to side.
>>332137659
None of that here.
But then, habit-building with illustration basically means I perform all the shit needed with next to no wrist movement.
>>332140004
>tfw you figure out who it is during the second episode
It wasn't as fun after that.
>>332137659
Let's make this a proper gaming posture thread. So what's the best and healthiest way to sit when playing video games?
Too busy caring about the pain my wisdom teeth are causing to care about my hands.
>>332142818
>buying a mouse simply because it said it was ergonomic
I bet you buy shit like magnetic bracelets
>>332143293
With that ass in my lap.
Otherwise just tense your back muscles, stay in that position with your head fairly high, and you'll be fine. It's just important not to let that slope set it.
>>332143507
It works so far.
I don't know why you think ergonomic shit doesn't work. My mouse is from actek and my mouse pad is from steren.
This isn't a problem as for some fucking reason I have absolutely fucking MASSIVE pollicis muscles. My entire goddamn hand has its own boob pillow underneath.
Shame about my CMT, brain damage and /v/ shitposting disease. Can't have it all.
>>332143507
Unlike magnetic bracelets, ergonomics are actually a thing.
>>332143661
>CMT

>>332137659
How do you actually come down with that shit, anyway?
I've gotten runner's heel before, which is unbelievably annoying in the morning, but logic tells me my arm should be a fucking mess by now too, and I don't have any troubles with it.
>>332142031
Having two hands to jack off your boyfriends versus being crippled and straight.
A hard decision.
>>332143803
I literally don't have a camera, mobile phone, fucking anything. I tried to look on google for a nice equivalent shot but no joy. Tell you what, I'll take a photo tomorrow and post it randomly on /v/ with my post. You'll eventually see my huge ass fucking thumb muscles.
>>332143778
goddamn fucking feet. I wish I didn't walk like I shit my pants after shoving something from bad dragon up there. It's the sudden loss of minor motor control that pisses me off.
>>332144014
Some smokers make it to 90. Some fat fucks don't die of heart disease. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes your body just decides it doesn't give a shit, who knows?
