Man I want to play Strange Journey. And I'm looking to play them all, when I can't get a physical copy I like to at least support the company, otherwise I would already be emulating them.I didn't really start playing games until I was in high school, it's not so much that I was sheltered, more that my parents were cheap. Regardless, I missed out on a lot and I'm trying to catch up now.

Y'know as much as I hate modern GameFreak, I really have to commend them for producing some quality tunes as well as being based enough to make quality remixes of every Gym and Champ theme for the PWT in BW2. That was pretty excellent.

I don't think I've ever been more disappointed in anything more than I was in ORAS's soundtrack though, the only track that was up to par with the original was Route 104, and it wasn't even better so much as it was a respectable rendition, which is more than I can say for most of the other tracks in the game

A decent mindset, I like to buy games from series I enjoy whenever I can. Only thing is for some of them there isn't really a way of supporting the company with a purchase, since it's all secondhand, so emulating doesn't do any harm there.
Do play Strange Journey by the way, I thought it's gameplay was way better than IV (although they do play quite differently with SJ being first person)

It took some getting used to; the big problem was that certain things sounded like they put too much reverb on them. It's too bad because you could literally just do a better editing job with the whole soundtrack, and it would sound a lot better. Most of the instrument choice was excellent; they needed a better French Horn sample, though. At least the new stuff was pretty good, like

Can't say I'm overly fond of Wally's theme, it seems more like an encounter theme than a battle theme. I do like Zinnia's battle theme though, it was like a glimmer of hope that maybe somebody still had some composition talent, I was starting to worry afterunpopular opinion alertBW and XY sounded so bland.
