Sanzaru has previously stated they aren't going to work on another Sly project. I think Sony might announce a new Sly project by a new developer coming E3 as a tie-in for the movie. As for Sucker Punch, look at their job listings, it seems they won't be working on a cartoony game for their next project. Most likely, it'll be another Infamous or a completely new IP.

This is true. However, with a game that ends with a cliffhanger, you'd expect the developer and publisher to have plans for future titles. Not only was this not the case, even by E3 2015 Sony hadn't contacted Sanzaru for a new project. It seems more likely that Sanzaru isn't going to be involved in a new Sly project.
