Ok, i have only played BBCT yet, but i have almost 100% it and i will directly play CS extended after that.
I really enjoy a lot of charac so far, i think that BB is cool because a lot of charac have their really own fighting styles. Unlike tekken or some other fighting games where fighters are almost all the same.
I like the specificities like the "curse" of arakune, the magnetism of Tager, the cheated blades of nu-13. I really love this game so far.

Initially it was, because of licensing issues involving Guilty Gear, but BlazBlue pretty quickly grew into being its own thing so the "spiritual successor" thing doesn't really hold up very much anymore.

I think the recaps in the game do a pretty good job of getting the important parts across.
But frankly you should just stop caring because the story is retarded. I wish I could stop paying attention to it, but there's just a couple characters I like so now I'm invested in it.
CS Extend and Vanilla CP were the only good versions of the game IMO. CF looks like horsecocks.

Guilty Gear at the start was something more of a 90s anime, and it shows. Just watch X's intro and compare it to CT's. I'm not saying BB is shit, but there's a clear difference and whether you like one or the other depends on this difference.

More of the same... Too many revisions maybe? The combos look too short for most the cast now and the routing looks dull as fuck. Shit like Exceed Accel, extra supers, it's just a bunch of convoluted shit at this point even for me. Maybe I'm sick of relearning combo routes for Valk/Hazama every several months.
I just swapped to Xrd and SFV, fuck it. The combos in Revelator and SIGN are mostly the same for both my characters, which was a relief.

Not at all. Hazama isn't even my main, Valk is and I have a strong Relius too. Also, I don't care about tier lists. Johnny was my main in GG when he was literally 0-21 for matchups.
Been an Arakune main since CS Extend. In CT and regular CS I played Tager. Unfortunately, I dropped Tager one game before he became really good.

Weeb is more of a modern term though, hence why I used it. Chuuni fits GG as much as Weeb fits BB. Maybe it comes down to how you understand the word "weeb"

I just don't have it in me to relearn my characters and new mechanics, and I'm the kind of guy that loves those small incremental gain in fighting games... But BB takes it too far. It's a shame because there are a few versions of the game I really like.

People don't play her because the waifufags who play these games don't want to play a difficult character. The Bulletfags, Kokofags, Platfags, and Noelfags have it lucky because their character is comparatively easier to play and succed with (especially Noel).
