The game is just a combination of BB and DS it doesn't even have trick weapons which is one of the things that makes BB so unique.

The systems offer more immediate variety. For example the movesets are still really bad for some reason. BK Gaxe and BK halberd are unusable for example, even their arts are shit.

DaS2 was a piece of shit, literally the DMC2 of the series. DaS3 is the DMC3 for sure, really good with a lot of fanservice but an actually good follow up to the first game in terms of story/lore and more importantly gameplay (I know DMC3 was a prequel but it explained Vergil).

All the streams I've watched of DS3 leaves the impression that it's more like a combo of 1 and BB, which is fucking excellent, and it's length is between 1 and 2, which is fine. 2 dragged on too long for the amount of shit boss fights it had.
The DLC will probably be pretty good too. 1, 2, and BB DLC were all better than base game.

Maybe, too early, the game seems to be good, I know a lot about it, it seems decent for what it is, a very good game from what I could see but I just saw a little so no point in saying much, a lot of people come up to me asking me ''what do you think of DS III'' and well I always say I love it, fromsoft always does a great job, maybe not with DS II but that was just 1 out of 3, I tell them it's likely going to be a lovely game, a very good, awesome game with some, I assume, mishaps which may be fixed in coming patches, so I tell them it's a good game, from what I saw that is, I like the souls series and this seems to be a decent addition, maybe the best, maybe a mediocre one but doubt it's going to be the worst, seems to be a decent one at the very worst case.
