Yeah they were an interesting bunch, everyone rolled because that was determined to be the most "fair" solution to handling loot vs fucking with DKP or risking favoritism with council rules.

clearing karazhan with them was a fun experience but one night we merged with another guild to down gruul and it was a pretty great experience.
when ZA came out we jumped straight into it, even though with kara gear we were supposed to be undergeared, but after two months or something we managed to clear it

If I had played it for just 2 years ($15x24= $360) I definitely wouldn't have been able to afford a PS3 at launch, which gave me far better memories in the long run (inB4 Sonygger). I remember how we ganked people in(or on I'm not sure) quel'danas while we were in their teamspeak. We had a lot fun to listen to their complains.
The best moment was when I ganked one player alone(in quel'danas) until he stopped to revive. So I used in front of him my hearthstone and went immediately back to the island and killed him again. After this he went offline.
Yeah this was great back then as a 16 year old to dominate other people in online games. Today I play on a PvE server so I don't get ganked by pupils.

Two crimson whelplings dropping within 20 minutes of each other. People can say bullshit as much as they want, as I no longer have pictures as proof, but one of those single handedly paid for my first mount and training, and I kept the other. Sadly my computer died at some point, and by the time I was able to get on again, my house had disbanded entirely.
I would bait fire mages constantly with tricket + flame reflector. Move slightly in range of polymorph on mob, always polymorphed. Just before their fireball launches, I trinket out and use the reflector. Always get hit by arcane power fireball + PoM Pyro. Once was against a premade where I was polymorphed and 3 naxx geared mages began charging their fireballs. I killed all 3 by myself, one of which instantly keeled over just from the reflector.
Being a mage, this also turned you to their one and only target for the rest of the BG, every time. They would ignore everyone else but me, which is hilarious because I would still reflect their stuff back on them because I play a mage and know when they will use Pyro.

When I was a pretty good resto shaman in mixed MC/ZG/BWL gear I used to play WSG with my bro who was a pvp shaman proccing windfury after windfury with his unstoppable force. I ran around healing him while one or two shotted poor alliance cloth wearers.
When the guild I was in did guild first Nefarian (among the first couple of guilds on horde I think, but we were far from the best on the server. Alliance won the pve war) we celebrated with a guild Alterac Valley group queue. We won.. in 45 minutes!! that sure was something back in the days when AV could last day. We stomped Alliance that day.

Guild leader hated my ass because I could not top heals like the other healers but I had fucking pain suppression when you could cast it on tanks and I had Power Infusion when you could cast it on others as well.

Back when the PvP honorable kill system launched (a month or so into WoW) I was playing on my level 20-something orc hunter in ashenvale, when a Night Elf walked up to me and dueled me. Now, he must've been shit, because he lost to 12yo ME in a duel.

It only made me mad. I had okay/decent Shadow gear but my first raid guild's warrior leader was a hardcore "one class one spec" faggot and he had the guild leader wrapped around his finger so I only got to ever dps in a raid a handful of times.

I've played since Vanilla, but most great memories were from WotLK. First Mimiron Hard Mode kill with guild is probably the best memory I have. The fight was pure fucking chaos, then when we finally down him and TS just explodes with screams of joy.
I miss raiding, but at the same time, I know I'll only find it fun for a month or two, then it turns into a second job, and I just want out.

It's the constant struggle of hybrid classes.
Before I played priest I mained a warrior and had to tank a lot when I was like every other warrior and wanted to be fury because I fucking hated tanking even though I was okay at it.
When I started I enjoyed it, the feeling of controlling giants in molten core as 39 other people beat the fuck out of it is a pretty amazing feeling but over time opinions changed and I grew to hate it.

I've been playing in a "dead" PvE realm for years. Only two guilds have 13/13 Mythic HFC, both Alliance and I am Horde.
Tried playing on a big PvP realm several times, and I have a few 100 characters there, but it's just not the same. My empty PvE realm has a small but nice community and I'm too attached to the people in my guild, while most people in the PvP realm behave like the average kid in League of Legends.
If it's your first time then I guess it depends on your first impression of the people there.
